Silvia Cabasino

Silvia Cabasino is the Head of Cultural Projects, International Relations and Training Programmes at the Fondazione Teatro di Roma – Teatro Nazionale. With a background in performing arts studies and cultural management, she works at the intersection of artistic development, international cooperation and the transmission of theatrical practices, integrating project design, archival work and training. She has curated numerous transnational projects, including contributions to the 2005 Union des Théâtres de l’Europe Festival, several European-funded projects, and a wide range of artistic residencies for European artists, fostering exchange, mobility and collaborative research. Over the years, she has strengthened partnerships with theatres, networks and cultural institutions, developing initiatives that connect research, production and intercultural dialogue. Within Teatro di Roma, she coordinates the design of training programmes for artists and professionals. She is also engaged in the development of projects related to the preservation and transmission of performing arts practices, contributing to a long-term vision in which memory, creative processes and critical reflection are closely interconnected.
