Vincent Menjou-Cortès is a graduate from the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique in Paris, where he studied acting from 2006 to 2009 under the guidance of Yann-Joël Collin, Dominique Valadié, Nada Strancar, Gérard Desarthes and Philippe Torreton.
Amongst others, he’s been working with the directors Georges Werler (The Hypochondriac), Valérie Dréville (La Troade by Robert Garnier) at the Théâtre de l’Aquarium, and Stéphanie Loîk (Zinky Boys: Soviet Voices from a Forgotten War by S. Alexievitch) at the Centre Dramatique National des Quartiers d’Ivry.
For various years now, he has been participating at the Festival du Cirque de Gavarnie where he has been working as an actor and artistic collaborator in multiple productions: Gaston Fébus, Hermanos de Libertad, Le Cid. He’s performed in numerous productions of mask theatre at the Collective Théâtre Nomade. In 2011, he was honoured as ‘Talents Cannes Adami’.
In film productions, he’s worked with Woody Allen, Cédric Klapich, Alexandre Lança, Llova Jedlicki, Gérôme Barry and Marc Gibaja.
With his Collective Salut Martine, he’s currently working on the staging of the diptych Bérénice by Racine / Tite et Bérénice by Corneille (the premiere will be in autumn 2016 at the Scène Nationale du Sud Aquitain).
