Odyssey by Homer is an emblematic work which shows the irrepressible need of human being to know and search for the roots of their existence. Robert Wilson creates a treatrical version of this extraordinary epic, with his own unique capacity of penetratic deeply into the text and shedding light on new meanings, revealing the text's most surprising elements, towards a fusion of imagination and reality in a same system of meaning. For this new work, Wilson chose the adaptation by English poet Simon Armitage, which the Guardian described as "swift, furious and amusing".
