Einstein's Dreams

First premiere in the season 2017-2018 in YDT is the play Einsteins’s Dreams according to the novel of Alan Lightman, directed by Slobodan Unkovski. One of the key characters is Time and therefore the director stated that in our Belgrade production he would like to establish a different basic reality that is based on a conditional backward glance. “Year 2005 marked the centenary of the publication of The Theory of Time (1905) and a very important exhibition was launched that year about Einstein’s life and research at the Museum of Natural History in New York. A special event was held dedicated to Einstein and the link between arts and sciences, Lightman and possible artistic aspects of the Theory of Time. I was their special guest and was introduced as the one who pioneered the idea of Einstein’s dreams on stage“ said Unkovski. Unkovski gathered large ensemble of both prominent and young actors: Dragan Mićanović, Radovan Vujović, Anita Mančić, Branko Cvejić, Branka Petrić, Nataša Tapušković, Marija Vicković, Milena Živanović, Milica Gojković, Marko Grabež, Vučić Perović, Joakim Tasić and Filip Đurić.
