What a wave of madness sweeping over the stages of the UTE theatres!
Here and there, all through 2012, in Bobigny, Graz, Roma, Sofia, Porto, Palermo, Cluj… citizens’ choir have been flourishing. It is everywhere the same principle: 200 theatre lovers taking over the space of our theatres and reviving the Antic dream of the citizen’s choir, the union between life and stage, arts and polis.
Created by the MC93 Bobigny and carried out through Europe by UTE theatres, the ATELIER 200 brings together 200 amateur actors, for a series of two-day workshops directed by leading stage directors and organized all through Europe. Already performed in Bobigny, Graz, Roma, Sofia, Porto, Palermo and Cluj, the project will have involved more than 1000 participants all through 2012-2013.
